BBGWines guarantees the quality of all our products and services. Your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your order.
Shipping
States we ship to: Currently we ship directly to the following states: California (CA), Florida (FLA) and Michigan (MI). Please note: There are many wine companies who ship to any state regardless of the law. To ship to each state und follow each state's laws is cumbersome and expensive. As time goes by and laws change, we will expand shipping to more states. Please check here frequently for the current status regarding shipping to your state. (If you live in a non-reciprocal state, you may wish to obtain an account at a CA wine storage facility, where we can ship you wine any time you wish. Contact us for details.)
Protecting Your Wine from Weather Damage
Please note that, due to our uncompromising standards of quality and excellence in our wines, we only ship Federal Express. During the summer months, we generally will only ship Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This is to ensure that wine is delivered to you before a weekend and will not be left in storage facilities that are not climate controlled.
Adult Signature Required
In accordance with FedEx and state regulations, we can only deliver wine when an adult signature is obtained.(FedEx is charging a $ 3.95 mandatory fee). We strongly recommend using a business address for your shipment, for this reason. Wine cannot be left at the delivery address without a signature under any circumstances. Also, we cannot, for obvious reasons, ship to a P.O. Box (private or Military). If your billing address is a P.O. Box, you must provide a street (preferably business) address.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, we will make every attempt to do so right away. Please note that if an order is already shipped or in transit we are not able to cancel your order.
Returns
For alcoholic items, returns are often not possible because many states specifically prohibit returns. Please email us immediately upon receipt of the product at customerservice@bbgwines.com if you have received an alcoholic product you believe to be defective, and we will do all we can to arrange for a replacement or credit. Please note that national carriers such as UPS and FedEx do not provide coverage for alcoholic products damaged or tainted while in transit.
ALL RETURNS/REFUNDS MUST BE AUTHORIZED IN WRITING FROM BBGWINES. RETURNS MUST MEET THE CRITERIA SET FOR EACH PRODUCT SECTION TO BE ACCEPTED.
Damage and Breakage
FedEx/UPS and other carriers do not insure alcohol shipments. We do everything possible to make sure your shipment arrives with no breakage, such as testing of the packaging and shipping boxes in a series of tests by independent contractors. Our packaging has also been tested by FedEx and/or UPS for the purpose of shipping wine bottles. In the unlikely event that a package arrives damaged, please take a picture immediately for our engineering department and contact us. We will handle each claim on an individual basis, but can make no guarantees.
Privacy and Security
The data you provide on our mailing list form will only be used to send you the latest issue of BBG News. The data you provide in our online store will be used to charge your credit card and ship your products. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you. Our online store also maintains a personal account for you, for your convenience for future orders. Our e-commerce provider uses best business practices when it comes to SSL transaction encryption and processing. Your information is secure and will not be sold or distributed to anyone.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.
Cookies
We use "cookies" in our online store. A cookie is a piece of data that gets stored on your hard drive to help us improve your access and identify repeat visitors. With cookies, you do not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while in our online store. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
