King Frosch Wines
King Frosch Wines are dry, semi-dry, fruity and sparkling,
all designed to tempt your palate with the flavors of Germany, all crafted with care and creativity by experienced wine makers. Even if you think you "don't drink wine," you'll be amazed at these wonderfully drinkable wines.

Fewest histamines, lowest sulfite levels
Histamines, found in the skins of grapes, give some people headaches. Red wine will affect a histamine-sensitive wine drinker more than white wine, because red wine has spent more time in contact with grape skins. Histamines are found in the body and are common to most plants, animals and microbes. They are involved in many regulatory functions, including responding to allergens. They are also found in food products, especially those that are fermented. Some histamines cause blood vessels to expand or contract, causing a headache.

Histamines occur naturally in grape skins and wood, and sulfites are found in all wines, both naturally occurring and added by the winemaker. Our wines are all fermented in stainless steel tanks instead of oak barrels, preventing the addition of histamines from oak. In addition, the stringent German wine law allows only 20 parts per million per bottle of sulfites usage compared to 320 parts. The result is a cleaner and straight forward taste with little to no possible side effects, i.e. headaches, stuffy noses, heat rashes, etc, but don't take our word for it.
